What to Expect in an Ayurvedic Wellness Consultation
A thorough intake and assessment - The very first step toward optimal health begins with your Initial Consultation (up to two hours in length). This consultation will include an intake and detailed assessment followed by a separate report of findings (within 48 hours). From this experience you can expect to gain a basic understanding of the principles of Ayurveda, a summary of your Prakruti (natural constitution) and Vikruti (current state of imbalances), as well as initial herbal, diet, and/or lifestyle recommendations to get you started on your healing journey.
Personalized treatment plan - Your treatment plan will be unique to you and your specific constitution and goals. This treatment plan may include lifestyle recommendations, dietary suggestions, herbal formulations, yoga, meditation, Ayurvedic therapies, aromatherapy, massage therapy, and other natural therapeutics. In order to successfully implement this plan into your life, frequent and regular follow up visits are highly recommended over a 6 to 12 month period. These visits are up to one hour in length and are an opportunity to check in with your progress, celebrate your wins, make any adjustments that need making, address any challenges, and continue with additional recommendations.

FAQ
Where do consultations take place?
All consultations will take place via Zoom, unless otherwise discussed and organized with Dylan.
What if I can't make it to my appointment?
Things happen! Don't I know it! So, there is always the opportunity to cancel or reschedule your appointment up until 24 hours before. The link will be in your confirmation email. Failure to cancel/reschedule more that 24 hours before you appointment will result in a $25 cancellation fee. If you fail to show up for your appointment without notice, you will be charged the full amount of the service booked.
Do you prescribe herbs or herbal formulas?
Depending on you personal needs, single herbs or herbal blends may be recommended and come at an additional price. If you have any allergy or dietary restrictions, please make sure to note them on your intake form.
Are Ayurvedic Services covered by Insurance?
Ayurveda is considered as a complimentary and alternative medicine (CAM) and is an emerging field in the United States, so it is not directly covered by insurance at this time. However, if you have an HSA or FSA (Health Savings Account/Flexible Spending Account) in your insurance plan, you may be able to pay for your Ayurveda appointments and products with your HSA/FSA card. Eligibility to use your HSA/FSA for services and products depends entirely on the insurance plan provided by your employer.
